The City of Chickasaw, in cooperation with ALDOT, proposes to provide roundabouts on West Lee Street at the Interstate 65 (Exit 10) northbound and southbound ramps. The proposed project will improve safety by eliminating sight issues at the ramp terminals and reduce the number of conflict points that are causing accidents in the interchange area.
The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. ALDOT is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.
All comments regarding this project must be submitted on or before Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
