Project Overview

Location: Prattville (Autauga County)

The proposed project is located north of the City of Prattville in rural Autauga County. ALDOT proposes to replace the bridge on AL-6 (US-82) over Swift Creek with a modern bridge that meets current design standards. The bridge will be replaced on new alignment west of the existing bridge. Additional right-of-way will be needed to implement the project. No detour will be needed as the existing bridge will remain open to traffic during construction.

The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.
